▌I will orgnize VTuber School for those who don't like school and studying

Nice to meet you! I'm Usagi Yukina! I'm a graduate student at a national university, doing research in pedagogy. Although I've been working part-time to save up for this project, I can't save much since I pay my own tuition, I would like to thank you for your support. I am also looking for Vtubers who wanna join my project at the same time.

🔻What Only can VTubers do! I want to be the best of both roles: a school and cram school teacher and a home tutor. I think there are things that only can VTubers do because they are now a familiar presence.

🔻I want to create a place for students who are not attending school! I want to create where they can feel comfortable. There are tools that allow them to communicate directly with each other on social networking sites such as Twitter and Instagram. However, there is no opportunity for them to connect with each other. My aim is to create a channel where they can be the best friends including me.

🔻Teacher who can play games together! I want to teach better than a school or cram school teacher and more intimate than a home tutor. You guys wanted such a teacher, didn't you?

🔻Can you ask a question during class? In recent years, online classes have become the focus of attention under the corona. However, in the real world of education, it is very confusing to prepare the environment, equipment and materials, and change the lesson plan. This has affected the students as well.

The worse students are at learnng, the more difficult it is for them to ask questions in class (as I did). Perhaps, it is national character for Japanese people, like shy It's even more difficult when it's online.

They can ask anything here! They can talk anything here!

I want to create a place like that. This is what VTuber School is all about.

🔻 Audience ▌Elementary school students to high school students ▌Those who are not attending school ▌Those who are not good at studying ▌Those who cannot attend cram school due to financial reasons ▌Those who realized the importance of studying after becoming an adult

🔻Videos and Streamings I think that educational contents and videos go very well together. I would like to create a video that can be used as an online teaching tool. I would also like to use the following concepts for streamings.

▌Lessons I will teach the class just like in school, answering your questions. The main topics will be the five subjects of the junior high school curriculum. I mean, Japanese, English, Math, Science, Social studies. I will also cover from fractions learned in elementary school to university entrance exams for high school students. At the end of each lesson, homework will be assigned and explained in the next lesson(streaming), which will please you, right?

▌Break time I hope to have fun talking with you. I also hope to play piano and sing! (I'm confident in my piano skills...?) I'd also like to play quiz games and mini games.

▌After School After school, I'd like to forget about my studies for a while and play some games. I'm not very good at games, so I'd like to ask you to be my teacher.

▌Holidays I would like everyone to bring their homework and teach each other. Or, forgetting to study, we'd like to be able to relax. At the end of the day, I'm thinking of starting a healing ASMR... I've been told I have a soothing voice, so...

🔻 Collaboration If I collaborate with popular VTubers, I'd like to have them teach me video games as a special instructor. I'd also love to invite them as a student to teach them a game or to teach them a lesson!

🔻Recruiting teachers I think it would be easier to teach with Vtuber students, but before that! I'm looking forward teachers who can teach at the university entrance exam level.

If I call my project VTuber School, I need teachers who specialize in each subject.

The English teacher is a native speaker. And if I speak Japanese in class, s/he'll get mad at me... (By the way, I'm not very good at English.)

I hope I have a math teacher who was like a mature woman.

And so on!

Please fill out the application form below! If you have something you can teach, you don't necessarily have to be a teacher who teaches studying.

As mentioned at the beginning, I am currently enrolled in a graduate school. I also obtained a teaching license during my undergraduate years, and was thinking of becoming a school teacher. I would like to introduce two episodes that made me decide to become a VTuber.

  1. I realized that I was not good enough during my educational training (the reason why I went to graduate school in the first place). I was given the opportunity to teach at an actual school as an intern. Although I prepared carefully, I was very nervous in my first class. I still remember the exhaustion I felt on the first day (laughs).

I was also grateful to the students who listened attentively to my nervous class. In the questionnaires I received after the training, I received comments such as "It was interesting/fun", but I did not receive any comments such as However, I was not able to receive any comments such as "it was easy to understand" or "I can do it now.

Through the educational training, I realized that I still had a lot to learn and experience in order to become the teacher I wanted to be. I realized that I did not have enough learning and experience to become the teacher I wanted to be. Therefore, I decided to pursue graduate school, which would allow me to conduct research and practice at the same time.

Approaching students who are not attending school (Why VTubers?) I had planned to do research in graduate school to gain experience and become a teacher, but However, through the volunteer work in educational support that I was involved in for a year, I changed my mind. I started volunteering because I started volunteering because I could not experience how to treat truant students only through educational practice, and I started volunteering because I could not experience how to treat truant students only through educational training, and also because one of my relatives had stopped going to school.

I didn't ask them directly why they couldn't go to school because it is a naïve question. However, some of the students told me their reasons. I found out that there are two major patterns as follows

❶ A child who can no longer keep up with the class and finds it hard to study Those who are unable to go to school because of bullying.

I can sympathize with the pain of not being able to go to school even though you want to study. However, as I was not a truant myself, I did not experience it.

Therefore, I try to help students to open up as much as possible. I also actively studied what the students were interested in.

One of the things that struck me was the story of YouTube.

When I was in elementary school through high school, we used to talk about yesterday's TV. Now they talk about YouTube! I felt a generation gap. I also felt a generation gap when we had the same favorite YouTubers and VTubers, and our conversation clutches matched. I was able to get in touch with them beyond the barrier of teacher and student! I thought (at least in my mind).

However, as I worked as a teacher and educational volunteer However, as a teacher and volunteer educator, I can only be involved in a very limited range of activities. In the first place, there is no way to approach children who are unable to leave their homes. It's more than we can imagine. There are many children who are uncomfortable with the words "teacher" and "school". I believe that they will accept VTubers, an existence that has now become familiar to them.

I want my voice to reach as many people as possible, even if only a little farther. I want to create a place where they can feel at home.

This desire became so strong that I decided to become a VTuber.
